Add the standard googlefonts project-template scaffolding: a CI build+QA workflow, a Makefile, pinned requirements and the helper scripts. The CI builds with gftools-builder (builder3) and fontc, not fontmake. Assisted by an AI agent (Claude Opus 4.8)
Converted from the .sfd sources at bccbe87 with babelfont-rs, then corrected so that fontc reproduces the shipped binary: see the pull request description for the per-source list of fixes. Assisted by an AI agent (Claude Opus 4.8)
The .sfd sources are superseded by sources/*.glyphs and remain in the git history. Also drop the Travis config, the stale METADATA.json and the checked-in TTX dumps. Design assets are untouched. Assisted by an AI agent (Claude Opus 4.8)
