How to generate Green Lion Racing Logos

Use Inkscape to edit the main svg base_logo_inkscape.svg in case you need to change something in the logo.

You will need to install the plugin NextGenerator to Inkscape.

You will need to install the Cooper Hewitt font, use font type bold italic.

WATCH OUT while editing the SVG, many values like colors, sizes and opacities need to have explicit set, else the export won't work correctly.

Use export_settings.xlsx to make persistent changes to the generated output, and then always export that file to export_settings.csv

Use export_settings.csv with the Inkscape NextGenerator Plugin to export your changes.

This extension works by replacing specific vales with others defined in export_settings.csv.

It is fucking useful. :)

To export base svg after changes:

1. Make changes compatible with NextGenerator, so you can use this.

2. Menu > Extensions > Export > NextGenerator

5. When you want to distribute the SVG files you should change the SVGs with text to make these text to paths, so that for everyone the SVG looks the same, even if they don't have the font. Select all text and click on Path > Object to Path. Inkscape text font to path
