Hello, it costs 7.01 USD at the final stage of payment. The cart.png is from the cart and it says 1.50 usd instead.

Submission Checklist:

  • I am a current high school, middle school, or home schooled student.
    • I am 18 or under
    • I have filled out the verification form (do this for every pull request)
  • I have joined the #electronics channel on Slack
  • I made this board from scratch, even if I followed a tutorial
  • I have followed the directions in README.md
    • Created a folder under onboard/projects
    • Filled out TEMPLATE.md as README.md inside your project folder
    • Uploaded gerber.zip and schematic.pdf inside your project folder
    • Created a folder called src and uploaded design files
    • Uploaded screenshot of PCB order called cart.png with all costs included
    • I am ordering the smallest batch size (ie. JLCPCB's smallest order is for 5 boards)
    • If outside the US I've checked that I can afford the customs charges in my country (which isn't covered by the grant)

  • (Optional) This project is from a tutorial1.
  • (Optional) This project is for OnBoard Live2.
  • (Optional) I'm in a FIRST (FRC, FTC, FLL, etc.) team. The number is: ____

Footnotes

  1. Projects from a tutorial are 100% fine! We just want to ask so we can count how people are using tutorials.

  2. OnBoard Live is a special version of OnBoard where you can earn more money for designing advanced boards. Check out the #onboard-live channel on our Slack!

Hi @NiceSapien!

You have not selected assembly from JLCPCB, so there won't be any components (NFC chip, LEDs, etc) installed on your board. Please check out https://github.com/hackclub/OnBoard/blob/main/docs/ordering_from_JLCPCB.md for how to do this. You can order up to 5 assembled boards.

Good job on your board! I’d love to send the grant, but could you update your README and cart.png? Since this is from the tutorial, the PCB shouldn’t cost more than $2, as JLCPCB offers PCBs for $2 when the size is under 100mm × 100mm.

Just an FYI, your antenna is being shorted(intersecting traces), which may cause your pcb to not work as intended.
Also it's fine if the antenna thing is not avaiable because it is just a trace/wire, and isn't an actual part that needs to be put on the board.

@BrightTheBackpack Can I remove the NFC Antenna then? Will NFC still work fine?
(What is it for if the card works without it?)

Thanks!

Hey @NiceSapien, you need to keep the NFC antenna; otherwise, you won’t be able to pick up signals. Check this out—it has all the steps:link

@souptik-samanta yo, i followed it all. What I'm saying is that the antenna isn't available on jlcpcb
