      • Cleaning List

        • for lines that don't have transit agencies (something we noticed when we looked at csv), we will need to properly associate them with their transit agency
        • When lines are not properly showing on the map (see Steps_For_Mapping_County_routes) documentation, figure out how we will fix
        • Removing data for lines that do not intersect with LA County to reduce the size of data set
        • identify which transit agencies that appear in LA_County_Transit_Agencies(5-6-25) are not in the California state data (e.g., Compton Renaissance transit)
      • It contains the following file formats:

        CSV

Downloaded CSV file into California_Transit_Routes_With_County on 2025-05-06 (added column L: Manually added Counties). The way the CSV works is that it has "shape_id" s associated with Transit agencies which you can then use to identify which shape files are relevant. For example

        OBJECTID org_id agency route_id route_type route_name shape_id n_trips base64_url Shape_Length
245 recPnGkwdpnr8jmHB Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority 108-13183 3 MARINA DEL REY - PICO RIVERA VIA SLAUSON AV 1080450_JUNE24 3 aHR0cHM6Ly9naXRsYWIuY29tL0xBQ01UQS9ndGZzX2J1cy9yYXcvbWFzdGVyL2d0ZnNfYnVzLnppcA== 0.261591
