Installation

Important

The installation script is made for Arch, but may work on some Arch based distros with systemd.

Caution

This script is designed to be done after a minimal arch installation, using it on previously installed desktop should work but will change whatever you currently have (gtk/qt theming, shell, sddm, etc) and is at your own risk.

After a minimal Arch install (with grub and systemd), execute -

sudo pacman -Syy git
git clone https://github.com/harilvfs/i3wm-dotfiles.git
cd i3wm-dotfiles/src/
chmod +x install.sh
./install.sh

After the installation is finished the script will automaticly reboot into the new enviroment.

FAQ

How Do I Change, Add, or Delete Wallpapers?

Change Your Wallpaper Manually

• Press SUPER + D, type Nitrogen, and press Enter.
• Select your desired wallpaper from the list in Nitrogen.
• Click "Apply" at the bottom-right corner to set it.

Add New Wallpapers

• Place your wallpaper files in the ~/.config/wallpapers/ directory. These files will be included in the automatic rotation and appear in Nitrogen for manual selection.

Delete Existing Wallpapers

• To remove a wallpaper, simply delete its file from the ~/.config/wallpapers/ directory.

Note

Wallpapers are now managed using feh for automatic updates and Nitrogen for manual customization.

Upon login or power-on, your wallpaper will automatically change, sourced from the ~/.config/wallpapers/ directory.

Want more Catppuccin wallpapers? Clone the repository directly into your wallpapers directory:
