The code looks extremely well put together.
I ran the test locally which passed and I also built the docs to render the equations making it easier for me to read the code.
To do this, I created a requirements-dev.txt file. I don't know if you want to include this or whether you want to use a different build configuration. It seems pixi is becoming increasingly popular.
