• This is an important release for sataako.fi - the map tech was completely modernized: from OpenLayers with raster tiles to MapLibre with vector tiles (thanks to OpenFreeMap!)
• A low-contrast map tile style (Positron) is in place to make it easier to see the rain
• This made it possible to add DARK MODE 😎
• Timeline has been extended from 60 minutes to 80 minutes
• Full resolution radar images are now used (instead of scaled-down versions), with 4x the pixels than before
• Some older devices (such as iPads from about ten yeas ago) are now unfortunately not supported anymore (WebGL v2 required)

The blue line depicting the outline of the radar areas is now generated automatically based on the radar images received from FMI.
Up until now it was made manually in Pixelmator Pro something like every couple of years.
The benefit of the automatic generation is that the outline tend to change every now and then whenever FMI make adjustments to their production pipeline (or the radars themselves).
