    • LFDT hasn't historically done FOSDEM because there hasn't been a whole lot of blockchain presence/interest.
  • Diane to check with ToIP and DSR if they will be present in FOSDEM2026
  • LFDT Webinars (People asking for them)

Minutes

• FOSDEM2026 - Blockchain presence. They have 1 topic for decentralized network which could be a good fit for us. Hendrik submitted a talk to the group and he will be present there and have a session.

• wearedevelopers - Hendrik submitted sessions there. This would be one of the bigger events for Hedera, Hendrik to represent Hiero. Location to do a hackathon or some other follow up event.

• LFDT unable to sponsor or present at FOSDEM2026 and wearedevelopers.

• Feb meetup in Germany by Hendrik to do in person + Youtube. (Quaterly)

• Hederacon is announced in May (Miami).

• Hedera DevDay in Denver, there will be a Hiero booth. Would be nice to have people from many entities there.

• Need to invest in communication and promotion with universities.
