We (Canton Enterprise Steerco including Ratko & Bernhard) have decided that DA will not make the distinction between a Canton Coin Validator, a Validator, and a Participant node from now on.
I don't think there's a strong desire in the Splice community to maintain this distinction either, so I think it has served its purpose. So let's remove that distinction from this overview doc.


This summary focuses on what matters for validator operation, the benefits from the token economics, and the underlying technology.
