Some concrete suggestions for people who would like to work on projects that would benefit the game making community as a whole:
1 - An online tool similar to klik n play with sharing facilities similar to puzzlescript.
2 - An online tool similar to zzt with sharing facilities similar to puzzlescript.
3 - An online version of the puredata script for generating footstep sounds - http://www.obiwannabe.co.uk/html/papers/pdcon2007/footsteps-poly.pd (or some other good tool for generating footstep sounds).
4 - A paint tool for drawing skyboxes directly.
5 - An online tool like renpy with sharing facilities similar to puzzlescript.
6 - Something like knytt stories :D
