Tripcity app

An app which helps you plan your trip to Tricity, Poland:

• search attractions and places in the collection created and constantly updated by the authors and users of tripcity
• use the convenient search bar to filter the colletcion by name, price range, category or location
• create an account to be able to save your favourite places and add your own to the main collection

Technologies

• the app is built in React using class as well as function components (hooks)
• it uses Firebase to store and manage data
• for some features we used external libraries and frameworks, e.g. Semantic UI, Recharts

Run the app locally

If you choose to clone the app code and run it locally, in the project directory you can run these scripts in terminal:

npm install

Installs all necessary packages you need to run npm start.

npm start

Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.
