The living framework is the current working source for I-VSD. The bachelor thesis is an archived academic snapshot from 2026; it is preserved for citation and historical context. The agentic skill operationalizes the framework for software-provider design reasoning.
I-VSD translates selected Sunni Islamic ethical principles into provider-responsibility questions, evidence expectations, workflows, and technical design guidance for provider-mediated software.

People may truthfully state that a product:
- uses I-VSD;
- is based on I-VSD;
- was self-assessed against a stated I-VSD version and scope; or
- was independently assessed by a clearly named third party.
Those claims must not imply that ISLAMU (ASBL en formation) performed an assessment, approved a product, endorsed an organization, or granted official certification.
Only an authorized ISLAMU (ASBL en formation) process may grant the designation:
ISLAMU I-VSD Certified
No official certification program is represented as operational merely because the framework or MIT-licensed skill is available.

The I-VSD name identifies the framework and skill owned by ISLAMU (ASBL en formation), but must not be represented as a registered trademark unless and until registration is completed in the relevant jurisdiction.

I-VSD supports provider-responsibility design reasoning and evidence traceability. It is not:
- a fatwa or religious ruling;
- Sharia certification;
- product certification by itself;
- legislation or regulation;
- an accredited standard;
- legal-compliance certification;
- security certification;
- proof that an implementation produces ethical outcomes.
Use alignment for scoped or qualitative claims and conformance for evidence-backed claims against versioned requirements. Avoid unqualified compliance language that could imply legal, regulatory, or official authority.
