Hi there! 👋

I’m @jackbmontgomery, currently working as a Data Scientist at Isazi in Cape Town, South Africa.

My professional background is in software development, with a focus on cloud computing, serverless architectures, and infrastructure as code.
Academically, I have a background in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science. I’ll be starting my Master’s in Mathematics at the University of Oxford in September 2025.

In my spare time, I enjoy learning about systems programming in Rust and exploring scientific machine learning, particularly using JAX as the computational backbone.
