Newest funlib.persistence>=0.5 has breaking changes

open_ds and prepare_ds are fundamentally different in 0.5 vs previous versions. We would either have to restrict which versions we are compatible with or update it to work with the newest version.

Let's update to be compatible and then make another DaCapo release.
