/*

  • Your warranty is now void.
  • I am not responsible for bricked devices, unstable experiences,
  • thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because internet did not work. Please
  • do some research if you have any concerns about doing this to your device
  • YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
  • you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you. */

SPECS:

  • CPU: i5-6300U
  • GPU: Intel HD Graphics 520 1536 MB
  • RAM: 8GB (but any amount should work just fine)
  • SSD: KINGSTON SKC2500M8250G - 250GB
  • SMBIOS: MacBook13,1

WIFI AND BLUETOOTH DO NOT WORK.

For wifi, use a compatible dongle and this program by Chris1111: https://github.com/chris1111/Wireless-USB-OC-Big-Sur-Adapter Bluetooth has not been fixed yet.

INSTALLATION

  • Copy EFI File to the root of a clean FAT32 formatted USB

  • Add com.apple.recovery.root to the root of the same USB (i have not changed any BIOS settings, as long as you aren't on RAID disk mode, you should be fine)

  • Boot from the USB and select "DMG {USB NAME}"

  • The device should boot directly to the Mac OS recovery with functional Touchpad and Keyboard

  • Format SSD using Disk Utility (included in Recovery)

  • Connect Ethernet and press Install Mac OS Sequoia

  • Your device will reboot a couple of times, it should finish the install automatically when you get to the installing part.

    The rest is straighforward!

If there is a problem, comment - i will help!
