Base folders layout

Please, use this repository as a base for the training. The idea is to fork this project so everyone uses the same folder structure.

###Who Should Attend

The training requires a basic knowledge of the technologies in question such as Java, REST, Git, Html, CSS, although the main objective of the workshop is not the technology and development.

###Materials

  1. Install Java SDK.

  2. Create your own GitHub account. Follow this guideline to setup your account. Also you can read further about Git in Try Git or Learn Git Branching

  3. Postman or any other tool that provide the same features.

  4. Fork this repo https://github.com/Leandromaro/libraryWorkshop to use as a base to host the project code. Read this for instructions.

###General Guidelines

  1. All code and documentation must be in English.

  2. You will commit all your code on a daily basis, when you finish your practice.

  3. To push your changes to the upstream you will have to create a pull request. Read this to understand the pull request flow.

  4. The code will be reviewed and suggestion may be added before approving the pull request.

  5. Once the pull request is approved you will be able to merge it to the repository.
