Welcome to the MF6.1.2 wiki!
Almost all formulas in this project come from Tire and Vehicle Dynamics, Third Edition, by Hans B. Pacejka.
The coefficients themselves are stored in the "pcoeffs.mat" and "rcoeffs.mat" files. These files are loaded whenever topmodel is opened, via PreLoadFn in Simulink.
Most labels attempt to follow the naming conventions in Tire and Vehicle Dynamics. Notably, slip ratio ( computed with effective tire radius ) is kappa, inclination angle ( or camber ) is gamma, and slip angle is alpha.
For outputs, F_zOut is simply the F_z inputted, with an absolute value applied. F_y0 and F_x0 are for lateral and longitudinal forces under pure slip conditions, while F_y and F_x are for forces under combined slip conditions.
The input and output units follow the conventions of FSAE TTC SI. Force is measured in Newtons, pressure in kiloPascals, inclination angle and slip angle in degrees.
