Azure Security Checker is a lightweight CLI tool that helps security engineers and pentesters quickly identify common security issues in Microsoft Azure subscriptions.
It checks public resources, common misconfigurations, and provides an easy-to-read Markdown report.
- Detects public Azure Storage Accounts with blob public access enabled
- Identifies virtual machines with public IP addresses
- Audits Network Security Groups (NSG) for risky inbound rules (e.g. open to 0.0.0.0/0)
- Generates a clear, structured Markdown security report

Example:

Options:
--subscription : Azure subscription ID (required)
--output : (Optional) Output report file name (default: result.md)

Clone this repo and install dependencies

Login to Azure CLI:
az login

Run the tool with your Azure subscription ID

Check the generated report in the current folder
