Use macros as intended by Fedora packaging guidelines and add two upstream patches (from git) to fix the build for 0.4.0. The patches can be removed when a new version is released.

I'm not sure how to go forward with this - It might make sense to put the spec into a separate repo or even get it into Fedora. OTOH I'm probably the only user currently :)
However, here it is. Putting the PR into draft state until a new release (with the two patches included) is out.
