@martinszeltins I see the goal, but the text changed doesn't really guide the reader to the next step. It's likely they may not even know what a compositor is. If there are solutions that work in Wayland for things like typing, window management, etc, I would prefer to direct folks to those solutions specifically. |

For Wayland to achieve what xdotool does, you need to write extensions / plugins for your Wayland compositor or desktop environment because of Wayland's strict security policies.
