This repository provides a standardized process for community members to submit formal requests to the Executive Committee (EC) or Software Security Council (SSC).
It is the official home for:
- Out-of-cycle funding requests: Requests for resources outside the normal community funding proposal process
- Other formal community requests: Anything requiring EC or SSC review and potential Foundation Governing Board action
- Submit a request using the appropriate issue template. Fill out all fields as completely as possible.
- Out-of-cycle funding request.
- Additional templates may be added as the process evolves.
- EC or SSC reviews your request.
- Clear description of what you're asking for and why it matters to the community
- Specific amount or resources needed (for funding requests)
- Relevant context, urgency, or timeline
- Any supporting materials or prior conversations referenced
