I built Inky because I wanted better bedtime stories for my son. It's now a real platform: iOS app, Gemini-powered story generation, word-level read-along narration, a growing story library. That's roughly how I approach most things — start with something I want to exist, build it, see if it holds up.
Previously a frontend engineer at Fender, shipping eCommerce for Fender, Jackson, and PreSonus, and building LEO — an internal Claude-powered CLI that ran our Jira workflow end-to-end. Thirteen years in the U.S. Army National Guard before that.
