Entertainment tool that invents fresh speculative narratives and tries to back checkable claims with live, verified URLs.

Setup

python3 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
cp .env.example .env

Edit .env and set either:

Provider	Required env	Notes
OpenRouter	OPENROUTER_API_KEY	Set LLM_PROVIDER=openrouter (or leave unset if only this key exists). Pick any OpenRouter model via MODEL.
OpenAI	OPENAI_API_KEY	Set LLM_PROVIDER=openai. Uses the Responses API; can use OpenAI hosted web search.

Run (web)

python app.py

Open http://127.0.0.1:5000/.

Run (CLI)

python cli.py "undersea internet cables"
python cli.py "museum basements" --scrub-links
