Codes to accompany the Lewińska et al. (2004)[1] paper featuring the Global Data Global overview of cloud-, snow-, and shade-free Landsat (1982-2023) and Sentinel-2 (2015-2023) data featuring the dataset Lewińska et al., (2024)[2]. The prerequisite to executing the codes is the local copy of the Dataset featured in the publication.
Figure_1.Rcode generates Figure 1 featured in the Lewińska et al. (2024a) paper;Figure_2.Rcode generating Figure 2 featured in the Lewińska et al. (2024a) paper;proportionOfDataPixels.jscode deriving global statistics on proportion of acquired observations needed in theFigure_2.Rscript. To be executed in GEETab2Raster.Rshowcases the casting of the tabulated data from Lewińska et al. (2024b) as a georeferenced raster in the EPSG:4326 projection. A correctly casted resulting raster will have the following extend and projection definition:
