Systems Engineering & Architecture for accelerated infrastructure, AI and machine learning systems, virtualization, hardware platforms, and open systems.

After eight years as a Meteorologist in the U.S. Marine Corps, I moved into systems engineering for high-performance compute, accelerated infrastructure, and GPU-backed platforms. For the last 5 years, I have worked in startup environments where priorities move quickly and the expectation is to turn ideas into shipped systems without losing reliability or technical depth.

I have experience across pre-seed and Series A companies, both before and after fundraising, including customer-specific products, internal platforms, and infrastructure automation that support revenue, delivery, and operational scale. I also have experience helping medium-sized technology companies scale into Fortune 500 operations, including ServiceNow during its 2017 growth phase.

I build open source and custom software that helps turn hardware fleets, GPU systems, virtualized environments, and edge devices into durable operational and commercial capability. My work spans control planes, host-level automation, Nix systems, virtualization, observability, hardware lifecycle tooling, systems integration, benchmarking, workload matching, and developer workflows.

Focus areas:

  • Accelerated infrastructure, AI, and machine learning platforms
  • Virtualization, hardware monetization, fleet operations, and lifecycle automation
  • Customer-specific infrastructure products for fast-moving startup teams
  • Scaling infrastructure teams and platforms from startup through Fortune 500 operations
  • Bare metal, high performance computing, Kubernetes, and edge systems
  • Defense programs, FedRAMP and IL5 environments, and high-assurance delivery
  • Open source and custom software for infrastructure-scale systems
