Disclosure: I'm the maintainer of gate.cat, so this is a self-submission. It's an early, open-source (Apache-2.0) project, so I kept the entry strictly factual and non-hyperbolic and appended it at the end of the section.
What it is: a deterministic, fail-closed action veto for AI coding agents. It blocks irreversible shell commands (
rm -rf,DROP TABLE,terraform destroy, secret exfiltration) before they run, with no LLM in the veto path (so a prompt injection can't talk it into allowing something). pip install gate.cat· https://gate.catgate.cat is a runtime guardrail rather than a diff reviewer — adjacent to the existing gate tools here (Zenable, Swarm Orchestrator). Happy to have it dropped if you consider it out of scope.
