Summary of Changes

Hello @changluyi, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request addresses a minor but crucial update to the Kube-OVN Helm chart. The primary objective is to synchronize the chart's internal versioning with the application version it bundles, which is essential for accurate release management and clear compatibility information for users deploying Kube-OVN via Helm.

Highlights

  • Helm Chart Versioning: The version field in the charts/kube-ovn-v2/Chart.yaml file has been updated from 2.0.0 to v1.15.0. This change aligns the chart's version with its appVersion, ensuring consistency in the Helm chart's metadata and reflecting the version of the application it deploys.

Code Review

This pull request aims to update the Helm chart version. However, the new version v1.15.0 is not a valid Semantic Version 2 string due to the v prefix, which can cause issues with Helm tooling. I've suggested removing the prefix to make it compliant.

Additionally, the pull request title "equal chart version to 1.0" is misleading given the change to v1.15.0. It would be helpful to update the title to accurately reflect the changes.

high

The Helm chart version field must be a valid Semantic Versioning 2.0.0 string. The v prefix is not allowed in SemVer 2. To align with the appVersion, this should be 1.15.0.

According to the Helm documentation:

The version field is a required field. It must be a SemVer 2 string.

Using an invalid version string can cause issues with Helm tooling and chart repositories.

version: 1.15.0
