Summary

  • add a new tip to the image pushing handbook showing how to surface MINIKUBE_ACTIVE_DOCKERD in the shell prompt
  • document a simple bash / zsh example for making the active minikube Docker target visible
  • note that users with custom prompts should adapt the snippet rather than replacing their prompt configuration verbatim

Validation

  • cd site && npm ci
  • independent content review against issue discussion and existing docs
  • site build target was not available via make -C site build in this checkout

Hi @iacker. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a kubernetes member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work.

Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.
