1. What is the difference between Minerva Story and Minerva Author?
Minerva Story is the browser that let's you view and share stories. Minerva Author is the tool that helps you create stories.
2. What image formats are supported by Minerva?
Any image (single-channel, multi-channel, fluorescence, brightfield, etc.) in 16-bit or 8-bit OME-TIFF format is supported for import into Minerva. For segmentation masks, Minerva Author also supports the import of 32-bit TIFF or OME-TIFF files.
3. I'm not a programmer. Can I create a Minerva Story?
Yes! We have developed Minerva Author as a user friendly program to allow you to easily create stories in a couple of hours.
4. Does Minerva work for whole slide images?
Yes.
5. Does Minerva work for tissue micro-arrays (TMAs)?
Yes.
6. Does Minerva work for 3D images?
Yes.
7. Is Minerva open-access?
Yes.
8. Is Minerva open-source?
Yes.
9. Where can I store my images?
We recommend a cloud based storage space such as Amazon Web Services S3.
