Precedent:
Twemoji's emojis appear to use a simplified / reduced form of national flags, whereas flag-icons' look more detailed; hence, I've used the more "detailed" variant of the Lion & Sun flag. I corrected the aspect ratios (1:1 and 4:3) and ran SVGO on both of them.
