build 'compiler-rt' for baremental toolchain(newlib)

I need to build 'compiler-rt' under newlib envrionment but so far no luck to make it work. Is it possible?

Just repeat what @TommyMurphyTM1234 mention in riscv-gnu, you can reference the cmake configuration from this
riscv-collab/riscv-gnu-toolchain#1709 (comment).

The main issue is baremetal/newlib didn't provide several OS dependent API, so only very limited of compiler-rt can be build with newlib.

GCC can do the code coverage with newlib, I hope llvm also can do it.

BTW, compiler-rt is kinda big collection compare to libgcc...so maybe you could clarify which part you want to use, then that would be easier to do further discussion.

The 'code coverage' part is what I care about for now. For GCC, the library name is libgcov.a.
