Closes #1763

Initial size is set to 600x680; minimum size set to 560x400. This helps on 1024x768, 640x480, ...

I couldn't figure out how to set horizontal size policy to be minimum-expanding for the scrollarea, this would make it so the horizontal scrollbar is not needed and would never appear.

As explained in various places, making scrollbars disappear is futile (unless by complex maneuvers that we don't do in LXQt).

Do you have any recommendations for initial and minimum sizes? - I guessed there. Also I believe plugin configs don't remember their size, which seems good.

My 2 cents: leave them to the size hint and don't be afraid of scrollbars.

Not need to remember sizes with plugin config dialogs, IMHO. We save sizes only for some LXQt config dialogs that need that.

I haven't read the changes, but I'd seriously avoid setting of "minimumSize" and similar properties based on what's seen with this or that Qt style, font size, font type, … and especially in pixels.

Isn't it possible to set only a horizontal scrollbar, leaving horizontal minimum as it was before? The Issue in question was about height. I think that combined with no minimumSize is ideal.

That issue can have solutions other than using scroll-bars. I vaguely remember that we solved the same kind of (unimportant) problem in some other plugin config dialogs by splitting them into sections. While appreciating your efforts, I think a similar approach could be used here. Just a suggestion.

We could move over "Display Time Zones" to "Timezone" tab:

We divided the panel settings time ago as they were too high even for average screens.
