Beta 1 released

This package is just getting started both from a npm package and a library standpoint. It is currently running in my platform application (which is alpha).

Anyone interested in testing it and offering feedback is warmly welcomed. For now, if you have any questions, start an issue. I'll be happy to answer them for you.
