pi-tldr

TLDR mode for pi — toggle compact LLM responses for small screens (iPhone in tmux, etc.).

Install

pi install git:github.com/maedoc/pi-tldr

Usage

• /tldr — toggle TLDR mode on/off
• Ctrl+Q — toggle TLDR mode on/off

When ON, the footer shows TLDR and the agent is instructed to:

• Keep paragraphs under 30 words, max 2–3 per explanation
• No markdown headers, bullets, horizontal rules
• No code fences unless showing requested code
• No filler transitions — be direct
• Tool calls and code changes are unaffected — full quality work, just compressed prose

When toggled ON while the agent is idle, it automatically requests a compact restyle of the last reply.
