- Upgrades all OpenTelemetry modules from v1.28.0/v1.40.0 to v1.44.0, along with transitive dependencies (grpc, protobuf, golang.org/x/*).
- Fixes the failing govulncheck job, which flagged GO-2026-4985: memory exhaustion from oversized OTLP HTTP response bodies in the OTLP exporters, fixed upstream in v1.43.0.
govulncheck flagged the OTLP exporters at v1.28.0 for a memory exhaustion vulnerability from oversized OTLP HTTP response bodies, fixed in v1.43.0. Upgrade all OpenTelemetry modules to v1.44.0 along with their transitive dependencies.
