Hi, I'm Marcelo 👋

I'm a high agency individual — an experienced and versatile Software Engineer at VTEX, where I play a critical role shaping the business face of the platform.

I build end-to-end systems: from agentic AI products to backend services, infrastructure, and polished front-ends. I'm also the founder of soy.chat, a privacy-first SaaS for AI-powered chatbot websites.

I care deeply about digital sovereignty — owning your data, your infrastructure, and your tools. That's why I self-host my projects on my own Kubernetes cluster, and why I run public services like a SearXNG instance for anyone who values privacy over convenience.
