Large random parallel block storage test

Problem

A simple parallel test of the storage is not enough, we want to ensure that even with large cases of parallelism and out-of-order-ness, things behave as expected.

Solution

Create a sequence of 100 blocks all depending on each other, create thunks which read and write to and from the database for each block, randomize the order of these thunks, and execute them using parallism.
