Review Summary
Great job implementing the core logic for the Battleship game! The class structure is well-organized, and the fire method works correctly. However, a couple of changes are needed to meet the project's checklist requirements.
In your Ship class in app/main.py:
- The
startandendattributes are initialized but never used. Please remove them to align with the checklist [CHECKLIST ITEM #4]. - The
elseblock in thefiremethod is redundant because the precedingifblock contains areturn. You can make the code cleaner by removing theelseand unindenting thereturn "Hit!"statement [CHECKLIST ITEM #3].
Once these minor adjustments are made, your solution will be ready for approval. Keep up the great work!

These attributes start and end are initialized but never used within the Ship class. This violates checklist item #4, which states that all attributes defined in __init__ must be used. Consider removing them.

This else block is redundant. The preceding if block on line 47 contains a return statement, so the code in this else block will only execute if that condition is false. You can unindent return "Hit!" and remove the else statement to make the code cleaner, as suggested in checklist item #3.
