Version compatible with any Motor-CAD version that supports the PyMotorCAD interface, and MATLAB release R2021b or newer.
Tested on Motor-CAD 2024R2.

Use this version if you want to use the PyMotorCAD interface. This is the recommended interface by Motor-CAD.

feat: multi-nozzle spray cooling in ROM generation (radial from housing, radial from rotor, axial from endcap)
feat: add optional DC Bus Voltage input for loss tables in ROM model

Legacy version compatible with Motor-CAD v15.1.6 or newer, and MATLAB release R2021b or newer.

Use this version if you want to use the Motor-CAD ActiveX interface (Visual Basic).
Do not use this version if you want to use the newer PyMotorCAD interface. Use the latest release instead.

  • fix: ensure loss scaling is turned off during ROM generation.
  • feat: display progress during ROM generation.
  • feat: check ActiveX available and throw meaningful error otherwise
  • feat: interface classes do not require a .prj file
  • feat: README.md describes what each product is required for

Note: this is a Legacy version, there is no active development for this version, only bug fixes.
