Download and sync your meeting transcripts from Fireflies.ai directly into your Obsidian vault.
This plugin connects to the Fireflies GraphQL API to automatically fetch your latest meetings, pulling in the summary, action items, meeting duration, and the full audio transcript (including speaker names). It then formats everything into clean Markdown notes.
- Automated Sync: Automatically checks for new transcripts based on a customizable interval (e.g., every 60 minutes).
- One-Click Manual Sync: A ribbon icon allows you to force a sync anytime you want.
- Rich Formatting: Generates Markdown files containing:
- Date and Duration
- AI-generated Summary and Outline
- Action Items (rendered as Obsidian checklists
- [ ]) - Full Transcript broken down by speaker
- Custom Destination: Choose exactly which folder in your vault the transcripts should be saved to.
- Smart File Naming: Automatically names files using the format
[TRANS][FIRE] Meeting Title.md.
To use this plugin, you will need a Fireflies.ai API Key.
- Go to your Fireflies.ai Dashboard.
- Generate or copy your API Key.
- Paste the API Key into the Fireflies.ai API Key field in the plugin settings.
- Set your preferred Destination Folder (default is
Fireflies Transcripts). - Choose your Sync Interval in minutes (default is
60). Set to0to disable automatic syncing.
- Download the latest release (
main.jsandmanifest.json) from the GitHub Releases page. - Create a folder named
obsidian-fireflies-syncinside your vault's.obsidian/plugins/directory. - Place
main.jsandmanifest.jsoninside that folder. - Reload Obsidian and enable Fireflies.ai Sync in your Community Plugins settings.
