Wearable, non-invasive continuous glucose monitoring
VitaSensor is a biomedical startup developing next-generation wearable glucose monitors that eliminate the need for fingerstick blood draws or subcutaneous sensors.
Our platform uses flexible GeSe-based nanomaterial biosensors combined with optical polarimetry and machine learning calibration to detect glucose levels non-invasively through the skin.
- Accuracy: R² = 0.94, MAE ≈ 8.6 mg/dL against reference glucometer
- Architecture: Polarizer-free chiroptical biosensing using in-plane anisotropy of 2D GeSe
- ML Pipeline: Custom calibration model for real-time glucose prediction from optical signals
- Form Factor: Flexible, wearable design compatible with continuous monitoring
