seeds is an app that helps you keep track of tasks or issues in your AI projects. It works without any complex setup. It stores data in JSON Lines format, which makes it easy to manage your work details. seeds runs on Bun, a fast and modern runtime environment.
You don’t need to install extra packages or tools. Everything runs locally on your Windows PC. It is designed for easy use and quick access.
Follow these steps to download and run seeds on a Windows computer. No coding is needed.

On this page, you will find the latest Windows version of seeds. Look for a file ending with .exe. This is the installer you need.

Open your web browser and go to the seeds download page.

Scroll down to the list of assets under the latest release version.

Find the Windows installer file. It should have a name similar to
seeds-x.y.z-win.exe, wherex.y.zis the version number. -
Click the file name to start downloading it.

When the download finishes, find the file in your Downloads folder.

Double-click the
.exefile to start the installation. -
A setup window will appear. Follow the simple steps on screen:
- Click “Next” to move through each part.
- Accept the license terms.
- Choose the folder where you want to install seeds or leave the default location.
- Click “Install” to finish the process.

Once installation finishes, you can close the setup window.

After installation, open the Start menu.

Look for “seeds” in the list of apps and click it.

The app window will open.

You can start by adding new issues, describing them, and marking their status.
To run seeds smoothly on Windows, your computer should meet these minimum requirements:

- At least 4 GB of RAM
- 500 MB of free disk space
- Internet connection for initial download only
- Permission to install software on your PC

If the installer does not start, try running it as administrator. Right-click the
.exefile and choose “Run as administrator.” -
If the app does not open after installation, check that your Windows version is supported.

If you see error messages, restart your computer and try running seeds again.

You can delete installed files and reinstall seeds if problems continue.
To update seeds to the latest version:

Visit the seeds releases page regularly.

Download the newest Windows installer
.exefile. -
Run the installer and follow instructions to replace the old version.
Your data will stay safe during updates.
Your issues are saved in a folder inside your user profile. By default, this is:
C:\Users\<YourUsername>\seeds_data
You can open this folder to back up your data or move it to another computer.
