In October 2025, Lombard acquired BTC.b's infrastructure and assets from Ava Labs to expand it into a multi-chain Bitcoin standard while maintaining all existing integrations and user balances. BTC.b now operates exclusively on Lombard’s transparent, verifiable protocol architecture.
