What is the purpose of this PR?
This PR fixes a rendering issue with the background gradient native component now that the new RN architecture is used.
Relevant changes
The old code was using old APIs from the RN bridge-based implementation of the old architecture. Moved to a more modern, new architecture-based approach.
What should be covered while testing?
Using the respective component in any app, and opening that specific page on mobile.
