While my background is in chemical engineering, specifically process engineering, I felt as if I had missed out on one of the most critical aspects of 21st century engineering; code. Rather than accept this gap in my knowledge, I pursued jobs that could bridge the gap and started a masters program specifically for computer science. Now, having worked full time for over a year while taking classes, I have changed my focus even more drastically to front end development. When I began my undergraduate degree, I made the choice to ignore artistic impulses for a more promising math and science heavy major. Front end development has given life back to my creative side and I look forward to making this project a reflection of that.
Disclaimer: While I understand this project can be worked on by up to 3 people, I have elected to work alone. While I see the value in different perspectives, I would like this project to be a sole reflection of my own ability and creativity. I also work full time making communication with group members much more stressful along with the complication of differences in library preferences that could arise which can seriously impact project structure and cohesivity.
