Summary

Starting with version 6.6.85, the PREEMPT_RT patch cannot be cleanly applied to the kernel source code maintained by Azure Linux. This is due a code divergence in file drivers/tty/serial/8250/8250_port.c between the upstream and AzureLinux's kernel source-code.
This results in the RPM build process for kernel-rt to fail.

Change Log
  • Add a patch to revert the drivers/tty/serial/8250/8250_port.c file to upstream before applying the PREEMPT_RT patch.
  • Upgrade the other artifacts in kernel-rt spec to 6.6.85.
Does this affect the toolchain?

NO
