Microsoft Season of AI

  1. Who can participate?

    Any speaker who has scheduled a Microsoft Season of Agents event in the participating user groups and programs. These include - User groups in the Microsoft supported Meetup Pro Network, active groups on the Meetup platform, Microsoft Reactor, Global AI Community, GitHub Community Leaders, Microsoft Gold Student Ambassador, GitHub Campus Experts, India Azure Developer Community.

  2. What do I need to do to join? How do I sign up?

    To be eligible, please fill out the form to register your event. Be sure to include the link to your scheduled Microsoft AI event link available and that you are listed as the speaker. Schedule your Microsoft Season of Agents talk to occur between April 1 and June 30, 2025.

  3. How do I make sure I'm listed as the Speaker in my Season of Agents event?

    Add speaker's name, bio, and photo to event description or speaker section.

  4. What are the key dates?

    All events must take place from April 1 to June 30, 2025. The free gift offer ends on June 13, 2025 at 9 AM Pacific Daylight time.

  5. What’s the free gift?

    The first 200 eligible speakers will receive the free gift offer. The gift set includes Microsoft and GitHub stickers and your choice of two of the following gifts - phone stand & charger, tote bag, magic cube, bamboo phone stand.

    Limit one free gift set per speaker/user group.

  6. When can I expect my free gift?

    Free gifts will begin shipping in April. Please expect your gift to arrive in 6-8 weeks (hopefully sooner!).

  7. How will I know if I am selected?

    The Azure Developer marketing team will let you know if you are eligible via email [email protected] alias. Please check your spam and junk folders so you don’t miss it. Please allow 2-5 business days.

  8. How long will it take to get my free speaker gift + attendee stickers?

    Allow up to 6-8 weeks but we hope it gets there faster!

  9. I’m a speaker at a Microsoft Reactor and other Season of Agents events are scheduled here, can I get a free gift?

    Yes, as long as you are a) listed as a speaker in the Microsoft Reactor and b) the topic on Microsoft Season of Agents. Reminder that speaker gifts are limited to one per speaker.

  10. Is Microsoft Season of Agents content available on the GitHub repo?

    Yes, topics check out the here

  11. Where do I get the content for my talk?

    You can find Microsoft Agents curated content in the S4-SeasonOfAgents folder.

  12. What is the content format?

    The format is a user group talk, typically a 45 to 60 minute presentation with slides/demos/Q&A.

  13. What happens after my talk?

    Please encourage attendees to take the short, post-event survey via a QR code or https://aka.ms/AttendeesurveySeasonofAI. The survey QR code will be included in the presentation materials.

  14. Can I still use the Microsoft Season of Agents content if my user group or program is not part of one of the Meetup Pro Networks?

    Yes! We encourage you to use Microsoft Season of Agents content-in-a-box to help you be successful.

  15. Will speakers and participants have access to Microsoft's AI services?

    No, participants nor speakers will be provided access to Azure OpenAI or other AI services. Speakers would need to have their own access to AI services, and if they don't, they'd need to rely on pre-recorded demos.
