Update/package Connector/C 3.4.9 with this change, or otherwise demonstrate that the 1.1.8 security behavior is preserved. MariaDB states that Connector/C++ 1.1.8 depends on Connector/C 3.4.9, while vcpkg currently supplies 3.4.8. Connector/C 3.4.9 contains the multibyte escaping fix needed by Connector/C++'s new mysql_real_escape_string() path
