Want You Gone Portal Recreation

This project aims to recreate the iconic "Want You Gone" scene from the video game Portal using Lua, Python, and C#. The goal is to create an interactive experience reminiscent of the game's ending sequence, allowing users to engage with various elements from the game.

I reccomend you use windows terminal with the aperture color pallete for a more authentic experience. Here is the repo from where I have gotten the palette. This one

Technologies Used (For versions on every language, not interacting between them)

  • Lua
  • Python
  • C#

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Install Lua interpreter.
  • Install Python 3.x.
  • Install an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for C# development, such as Visual Studio.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine:

    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/want-you-gone-recreation.git
    
  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd want-you-gone-recreation
    
  3. Follow the setup instructions provided in each subdirectory for Lua, Python, and C# components.

  4. Usage

Python - Install Pygame and run it, easy as that.

Lua - Same as python, but install LOVE instead of Pygame

C# - No installing required, you're good to go if you have got c# in your system.
