Mido's House Multiworld 17.1.5
Major server maintenance is scheduled for Monday, 18 May 2026, 00:00 until Friday, 22 May 2026, 00:00 UTC. Mido's House Multiworld may go offline for a while during that time. Starting one month ahead of time, the multiworld app will inform about this maintenance window each time it's opened, with an option to not show again for this maintenance window.
Mido's House Multiworld 17.1.4
This release fixes a bug that prevented version 17.1.3 of the macOS app from being opened.
Mido's House Multiworld 17.1.3
This release:
- Updates the experimental EverDrive support for the EverDrive sending the save file upon file select.
- Fixes the version number and copyright year being outdated in the macOS app's metadata.
Mido's House Multiworld 17.1.2
This release adds support for version 8.3.65 Fenhl-2 of the randomizer.
Mido's House Multiworld 17.1.1
- The installer now detects a copy of BizHawk installed using Scoop.
- This release fixes a bug in the updater with the error message “clone of unexpected message kind”. If you're running into this bug when attempting to update from an older version, please install the latest version to work around it (no need to uninstall the old version first — it will be replaced automatically).
Mido's House Multiworld 17.1.0
- The BizHawk plugin is updated for BizHawk 2.11.
- The experimental EverDrive support is updated to support the EverDrive reporting info about dungeon reward locations when the player views them in the pause menu.
- Help text has been added to the “world already taken” error screen.
Mido's House Multiworld 17.0.3
- The installer now detects a copy of Project64 installed using Scoop.
- The text shown when the app is waiting for the save file to be created has been adjusted to say “create file 1 in game to set name” instead of “create save file 1 to set name”.
- The macOS app's icon has been updated for the new design guidelines in macOS 26.
Mido's House Multiworld 17.0.2
This release fixes a bug where the User-Agent header was generated incorrectly by the server, Linux app, and macOS app, potentially causing some errors not to be reported.
Mido's House Multiworld 17.0.1
This release fixes a bug where the Project64 plugin would send a “file hash changed” message every frame.
Mido's House Multiworld 17.0.0
- This release fixes a bug where if a player collects an item while not connected to a room, closes the multiworld app, then later reopens the app and connects to a different room, the item would be sent to that second room even if it's for a different seed. The local caching of items now only sends pending items if the seed hashes match.
- The multiworld system now distinguishes between an unknown file hash because the seed is not yet loaded vs an unknown file hash because the seed was rolled on an old randomizer version that didn't expose the file hash in the co-op context yet.
